Freeman H. McClintock collection, 1917-1983.

This collection documents McClintock's service in World War I, his postwar efforts to support the United States Ambulance Corp, and his business activities as the owner of F.H. McClintock Co. (1936-1966) , a LaSalle and Cadillac dealership in Lansing, Michigan. Includes WWI photographs of various French cities during the war, partculary Rheims, and the aftermath of the bombing of the Cathedra De Rheims. Includes several informal and formal photographs of McClintock and other soldiers, and photographs of Mrs. Woodrow Wilson and General Pershing with their automobiles (1919). (During this postwar period, McClintock was a First Lietenant in the Motor Transportation Corps, and attached to Paris Service Parc, which was part of the United States Army Headquarters District.) Lansing documention consists of business correspondence and letters to the charitiesand schools supported by McClintock. Also includes the USAAC Bulletin, 1920-1980.
